"Karma is a beep, baby."
Ilandevan โ a Tamil-medium boy from Ramanathapuram โ is now a student at one of India's best business schools. He has one goal: meet Nayana Kapoor, India's highest-paid heroine.
He has one strange gift: the power to step inside any photograph โ seeing and hearing what the people in it were really thinking.
Chasing his idol, he befriends Sunaina โ once a Dance India title winner, now an escort. He gets caught in a drug case tied to Nayana Kapoor. The day he's released, a friend is murdered.
Who killed? Why? Will the jolly, go-lucky gang find their friend's killer? What's the poetic revenge waiting at the end?
Ila can step into any photograph and revisit the scene as if he's standing inside it โ hearing what people were really thinking, not just what they said.
It isn't magic. It's his mind doing hyper pattern-recognition and psychoanalysis โ his subconscious replaying what people's behaviour already told him, frozen into a single, navigable frame.

"BeeP is a film that dares to experiment, keeps the audience curious and offers a different flavour of crime-thriller storytelling."
Different concept. Intriguing mystery. Strong performances. Engaging experience! A refreshing attempt that deserves appreciation.

"The film transported me to the villages of those days."
โ Director Bharathiraja, on Kattu (The Bind)
mQuest has built its name producing short films, documentaries and commercials โ most notably Kattu (The Bind), a National Awardโnominated short film praised for its grounded portrayal of Sri Lankan Tamils in the aftermath of the 1981 Jaffna Library burning.
mQuest makes films at the intersection of commercial and art cinema โ bringing craft to mass subjects. Quality entertainment is its heart.
BeeP is mQuest's first feature: a high-concept college-and-cop story that carries the same instinct for grounded, unflinching storytelling into bigger, stranger territory.
mQuest Movies is open to new collaborations across feature films, screenwriting, and commercials. Whether you have a story to tell, a script to develop, or a brand to bring to life, we'd love to hear from you.
